me, Mr. President, to protect our freedoms, the freedoms the American people cherish so deeply.

This vote today means that the Senate can STAND UP to ANY PARTY who has sacrificed our liberties, and say NO.

Our military should not spy on our own people. We should secure our country, but not by destroying our liberties.

Thank Almighty God for this Constitution.

Thank God for checks and balances. Thank God for the US Senate, and may it always stand for what is right."
