10. Nixonians redux
Those punished now have books and radio shows. the same of Iran Contra felons and liars. Some of those and many unscathed by edited justice falling short and upon its own swift sword are now ruling- RULING the country with unspeakable crimes.

President Ford finally made Nixon's bluff "Put this all behind us, move along for the good of the nation"
work at the cost of the last vestige of GOP integrity and his own presidency. Everyone lost, including the ill defended myths, but not the crooks. The cancer joined others and thrived vengefully. Justice denied, for the good of the country has cost this country a coup, impoverishment, death and war and it's very soul in raped principles.

The Democratic Party in imitating the under-the-rug pleasantries of Ford will eventually share his fate collectively. That is as undeniable as the disasters many easily predicted about the Iraq invasion and occupation. Just as undeniable- with only the details of death and harm to be filled in like some bonus trivia questions on the test some Gravitas leaders seem determined never to answer.

What MORE national harm can be done by the weary hunting down and prosecution of the thieves, traitors and murderers who will slink away with their loot and continue to corrupt the nation through their power and media? How can we EVER prosecute another criminal or war with any credibility if these poisons are tolerated because it hurts to really treat a disease. Healing wounds by overlooking responsibility and preserving bloody myths will be the death, the real death of us all.
