Kerry may be perfect as AG in someone else's admin, but based on the record so far you can't trust him to expose the BFEE if he's the Prez. (We already saw how this worked with Clinton, who also had a lever to expose the BFEE, and didn't.) Too much indicates he's either intimidated, or just another player. Make him AG, and then he can finally put all that material he's gathered on Iran-Contra, October Surprise, CIA-Drugs and BCCI to good use!
