...since he hasn't actually done anything, nor (presumably) is he engaged in any preparations to do so. (and an investigation to check on that may be warranted).

HOWEVER... it needs to be laid squarely at his doorstep that "there's nuttier folks than you, and something this explicit just eggs them on." As much as Rush, G. Gordon, and the other radio wingers want to disown Tim McVeigh, their over the top fulminations helped prod him into the actions he took. The same for abortion opponents who "target" doctors and pray for their deaths but don't actually pull the triggers.

Hell, everybody has frustrated times where we wish we could simply wish away whatever obstacle is vexing us. But it crosses a line when the "wishing away" morphs into detailed "taking them out" fantasies.
