Example:
I was watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off the other day and it was easy to do it.
Ferris: BIG time liberal, he realizes life is to be lived and his life won't be dramatically altered for the worst by missing one day of school. He encourages other people to live life. He's spontaneous and fun, has a sense of daring and is obviously intelligent.
His girlfriend, Sloan: liberal, come on, look how laid back she is and willing to go along with Ferris. Also, great sense of humor.
His best friend: A liberal inside, but in dire danger of becoming a freeper later on in life if Ferris doesn't continue this intervention.
Ferris' sister, Jeannie Bueller: BIG TIME future republican voter. She can't STAND that her brother is having a good time. She got a car, he didn't, but she STILL isn't happy. Generally not a nice person to be around. Scorns the 911 operator for not being able to speak English well, lies about having an STD (or IS she lying?), ironically ends up making out with a street criminal after being brought in for making phony 911 calls. There is hope for her, as she does side with her brother against the principal in the end, but who knows what she told their parents after going inside?
Ed Rooney, the principal: SERIOUS republican voter. Gets a BIT obsessed over this ONE student possibly pulling the wool over his eyes and goes to great lengths, including breaking and entering and assaulting a family pet, in order to bust him and STILL isn't successful.
Ferris' parents: liberal to moderate, even though his dad seems to be a buttoned-up type and his mother is a realtor. They both seem to be pretty relaxed and trusting. And his dad seems a bit annoyed by the corporate life in what glimpses we get. Loving, nurturing parents. (How'd they get Jeannie?)
The principal's secretary probably doesn't vote and the US Government instructor ("Bueller? Bueller?") is definitely a republican (and that actor is in real life).
BTW, did anyone know the guy who played Ed Rooney was recently convicted of child molestation?
Now, you pick a movie and try it!
