81. Let me try to at least say in a positive note
that at least now days these things are reported and are coming out. In Victorian times, I'm sure the abuse was much worse because people didn't talk about sex or have discussions about sex abuses. Now we even have websites where you can be warned where some of these creatures lived.

I found out recently that a former manager at my company had been convicted of abuse of his 5 year old step daughter. I must say, it was a shock. The guy had even asked me out on a date a couple of times, but I don't date married men (said he was breaking up with his wife, my guess is she wanted to break his ass in half). All this was 2 years after the conviction. TWO YEARS! He worked in my company for 3 years after all this happened and no one knew.

If we had checked the sex offenders website: (I'm including the link for Virginia here, but you can google it for your own state)
http://sex-offender.vsp.state.va.us/Static/Search.htm
we would have known. If you have children, I strongly urge you to check the offenders list for your state and be aware if any of the creatures you read about actually live in your area.
