Know why I'm here?

Because it's a relatively Katrina-free zone.
And folks, I've had Katrina, up to the eyeballs.
We came through, just fine, but it was a scary 12 hours.

Our area is the nearest fully functioning county to the east of the Mississippi coast.
We are now a refugee center.
I've worked the last two days at a collection center for food and clothing donations. Got a lot of stories, for later.

Right now, I just want to kick back, fix BIG drink, and socialize for a change.

Thanks, and how the hell is everybody doing?
