39. breasts of burden
My wife is breastfeeding and is descrete about it but does occassionally breastfeed in public. Some people get really freaked out by this. We know mothers who have been asked to leave malls, Toys R Us...

So a friend who is a poly-sci professor goes on a fellowship to Nairobi. A colleague there at the university asks her: "I hae heard that women in your country pay thousands of dollars for an operation to have their breasts enlarged and that after the operation they (their breasts) do not even work anymore. This cannot be true, is it?" To which my friend responded, "Sadly, it's true."
