because Hulk can jump for miles! What good is flying if you will just get your a$$ kicked if you land and try to do anything? If you lack the strength to carry anybody? Did the ability to fly ever do any good for Arthur Dent? Okay, it did save his life a couple times and maybe even got him some nookie.
Reminds me of a story.
A man was hang-gliding over an isolated rural area when he is spotted by a couple of hunters. One raises his gun - BLAM! BLAM!
The other one says "What the heck was that?"
The first replies "I have no idea, but I sure made it drop that man it was carrying."
