5. Yup ..
It does anger me or it used to. I laugh now but I've had time to deal with it and realize that those people who treat me differently are shallow and really not worth my worrying about.

I'm still the same me inside. Only the outward appearance has changed.

Funny story;

At my granddaughter's 1st birthday party I was very nervous because it was the first time in 7 years since my divorce that I was going to see my ex husband. When he arrived at the party, I happened to be standing by the door. I said hello as he came in and he nodded and said "hi, how are you?" .. I gave a standard, "I'm fine thanks" as he walked into the sitting room.

My stuff was on a chair beside the one he sat in and so to make room for other people I started to move my things out of the way. He invited me to sit and shocked as I was I thanked him and sat down. I commented on how Ella looks so much like her Daddy and with that, the ex turned to me, stuck out his right hand and INTRODUCED himself to me !!! I swear!

I replied, "well, hi, .. I'm Adam's mother!! " He was so embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough. I was complimented at first but later, when I had time to think of it I was hurt, angry and surprised. Had I changed that much?

He and I talked about it and to him I had changed. I was much more confident and sure of myself. huh? .. well anyway .. I understand what you're saying about human nature.

Sorry to ramble.
From someone who lost 168lbs I know how hard it is to take the pounds off. (Even if I did it the 'easy' way eh?)

Start recognizing those flirty ways Tobin!! :)
