7. Roasting prime rib under a flower pot.
He showed that if you don't have a convection oven to properly prepare a rib roast, all you need is a large terra cotta flowerpot. Put the roast on the bottom dish, then cover it with the flowerpot.

You can just feed the meat thermometer right through the drainage hole in the bottom (now the top) of the pot.
