10. In a real pinch...
...you can sprinkle baking soda in (assuming its not a dark carpet), let it dry while absorbing the odor, then vacuum it up.

Enzymes break down the odor causing elements, naturally - you can get those at any super Pet Mart thingy, anymore. I think the Nature's Miracle is one of those...

Caveat (sorry): once a dog (or cat) has gone somewhere even once, a precedent has been made - it can be alot harder to dissuade them after that. Can you keep your doggie out of that room for awhile at least - to hopefully break the association??

Also with their ability to smell being a gazillion times better than ours, even if it fades to your satisfaction, don't be surprised if they still smell "bathroom" vibes from there.

Mmm, further clarification: Is the kitty's litter box in the office, too? That might be confusing the Schnauz - after all, that feline can go in here - surely its okay for ME! ;-)
