But I was with a bunch of "the lads" in a wedding party, all of them firmly entrenched in the city and culture, so it all just kinda' "worked". I fit right in.

Although, some of the places we went to for the stag festivities (which, incidentally, lasted three of the five days) I'd never consider going to on my own. (Hell, I wouldn't remember where they were anyway!)

on edit: RE: "Bulldyke Karaoke Night". I do remember seeing lotsa' serious biker/lesbians on ninja-style bikes. To me, it just added to the ambiance of the place.
