62. Palmer plays for the Bengals.
Last year was technically his rookie year, but Jon Kitna took every single snap - Palmer never stepped foot in a regular season game last year. He was named starter this year, so he's basically a rookie. His numbers through 11 games: 216/372 (58.1%) for 2,313 yds, 13 TDs, 16 INTs with a passer rating of 70.1. Not great, but certainly not terrible. Plus, he's tied for 5th in the league in pass attempts - that's not what you want a rookie QB to do, but he's had to play catch-up a lot. The reason Roethlisberger does so well is he throws only about 15-20 passes a game, and the defense does the rest. Palmer does not have that luxury...yet.
