I had one in my neck that I had surgery on - neck surgery is pretty successful for the most part and it came out very well.

I also have one in my lower back which I will not have surgery on. I try to keep my weight down and my abdominals strong - the best way, I'm told, of avoiding lower back pain.

Yours is in a tough spot though. :hug:
