5. Coal is going for about $30 per ton
The reserves are estimated at 220 billion tons.
For the foreseeable future, we'll use 2.75 bil ton per year, enough for about 90 years.

Now...if you're still holding your investment by then, compounded by yearly contributions on future christmases, things will finally be going your way.

Now if that's Anthracite....You'll have quite a "nestegg" there.
