Is Rooibos tea as wonderful as they say it is?

I was all irritated because my supermarket had no echinacea tea, but lots of this red tea/rooibos stuff. So I go home and look on the internets, and apparently rooibos has vitamin C in it and something like 50% more anti-oxidants than green tea, has anti-inflammatory properties....

So anyone have any first hand experience with this tea? I'm a sucker for endorsements.
