but as a late arrival to the greatness fo the simpsons - i got into them only a few years ago; seasons 4 & 5 seemed to me when the show hit its stride- homers foray into his own faith, the origins of the sideswhow bob/bart feud, last exit to springfield, duffless, and sweet seymour skinner's baadasssss song.
the bonus disks are good on some seasons worse on others- depends on your simpsons geek index on if u need to get them as well
