I sat through the second and kept on wondering, "What the hell was everyone's problem with this? I love it!"

And I didn't think the dialogue was cheesy in the second one. The philosophical musings made the film for me. I personally think some people really don't "get it" and complain about it because of that.

(Of course, everyone here "got it". DUers are quite brilliant. ;-) I'm sure people here disliked it for good reasons. )
