10. Silicon Valley (CA) Burger King & Carls Jr. shortcomings...
I don't know of a Burger King in the area that actually "fresh cooks" their burgers (versus tossing them in the microwave). Often, rather than a fresh, hot burger, the meat is "room temperature."

Bay Area Carl's Jrs, on the other hand, are the greasiest and most vile burgers on the planet...at least in this area.

If anyone reading this lives in the area and knows of a Burger King that serves HOT burgers and a Carl's that serves burgers that AREN'T swimming in fetid grease, post the location and consider it a public service.

:patriot:

I know it depends on the franchise, but if you want a decent burger in this area, go to In-n-Out. It's not Angus beef, but it won't make you roll around on the carpet clutching your abdomen an hour after you eat it, either.

They also leveled and re-built the "Kirk's Steakburger" on Bascom in Campbell...the old place was a real toilet, completely run-down. Decent burger, REALLY expensive. But they're "real" burgers, and the milk shakes use "real" ice cream.
