Okay, okay. We went to the coast, starting with Goat Rock State Park.
Waves, rocks, beach.  Dunes.  And we got buzzed by some critters--some of which were rather strange.    Others just gave us the evil eye--must be Republicans.  Then lunch at The Tides. Salmon to die for. Sea lions barked and frolicked. (Looked an awful lot like mating season to me.) I think Peggy got some shots of them. Then the long way back to Calistoga and a fine dinner at the Wappo Bar & Bistro... or Grill... or something. We did our tribute to Sideways and had Pinot Noir from the Santa Ynes Valley for dinner. |
