I agree that when the clothes have writing on them like "porn star" that the child doesn't even understand are inappropriate, but I don't think something as innocuous as an exposed belly button is cause for alarm. There's no reason a small child should have to think of her body as something shameful to be covered up lest other people get "the wrong idea" about her.

I think children especially should be immune from such judgments
