78. My daughter is the same age as yours.
She'll be six in March. She's definitely interested in fashion, make-up, girly stuff. I know that has been the case for millions of little girls for decades, but I was a tomboy kid so I don't have experience being a girly girl. I'm struggling with how much I should worry about her thinking too muhc about appearance, and what I can do about it. I'm trying to send the message that girls are much more than "pretty" but I don't want to make the girly stuff forbidden fruits that makes her more obsessed.
