and I still get weepy over The West Wing. Watching it when it first aired, back when BC was prez and the United States walked strong and proud in the world and everybody loved our guy--well, friends, what a falling off there's been. After five years, I can still scarcely believe it.

It hurts to watch it now. It really, really hurts.
