27. Why?
I work at a DC law firm, one of the, mmm, shall we say busiest lobbying law firms in the country. The lawyers there are divided about 50/50 Dem/Rep, but I work on a floor where it's mostly Republicans. I work for a close personal friend of * (who's a very nice guy -- the guy I work for, that is) and another attorney on the floor is one of the highest-ups (if not #1) in the B/C money machine.

These Republican attorneys have clients visiting the office all the time. My cubicle is directly in the path from the elevators to the above-described BigWig's office. You would not believe some of the attitudes, smirks, guffaws, and outright rude stares I get as these guests are led past my desk. They're reacting to the "Dean for America" bumper sticker prominently placed where it cannot be missed by passersby.

One attorney, new to the firm, saw it and laughed out loud, stopped walking, looked at me, smirked, shook his head, and walked past. He never said a word. That was our first greeting. Another attorney, for whom I have a great deal of respect, actually had the maturity and the balls to engage me in a conversation about my candidate. He told me that he believes Dr. Dean is the best we Dems have, but that he has no chance of beating *.

So I ask you, Jack Dawson: why do you say that a Dean/________ ticket would assure a B/C election?
