21. I wanted them to cast Alec Baldwin for the part of Ed Wood, because of

Baldwin's strong physical likeness to the real Ed Wood. And I think he would have done a great job at it. Depp doesn't look anything like the real Ed Wood, but still pulled off an OK impression of him. Martin Landau was transcendent as Bela Lugosi and richly deserved his Oscar for it.
