But seriously, the "worst" thing I've done politically was to work for Dukakis in 1988 (instead of my "real" choice, Jackson) because I thought he was more "electable" than the others (sound familiar?). I even went to the state party convention as a Dukakis delegate. Biggest political mistake I made.
Since then I've only worked for candidates I've believed in-- not those I like because of "electability". I've won some and lost some, but I've at least been able to live without guilt.
