The Da Vinci Code movie opens: Fundies of the world go nuts!!!

The critics, fearing the wrath of the religious right, preemptively gave the movie nasty readings. Fundamentalists of all religious boycotted the release.

It has made, so far $229 million in the opening weekend! And the viewers LOVED IT, wondering if they saw the same movie the critics reviewed. I saw the movie at a full, sold-out theater in NY, and I thought the movie was EXCELLENT! Having read the book helps, s I notice people who did not read it had a harder time following the plot.

Here's some photos from around the world of fundies protesting the release of the film. It certainly has united fundies from every religion! From Catholic to protestant, fro mMuslim to Orthodox:
