...often, the passenger doesn't think about even checking to see if their passport has expired until the night before a trip. Oh, and another thing, in case this will help anybody going to Mexico: Yes, for the moment they will still take a birth cert as proof of US citizenship for Mexico...however, it must be a gov't issued b.cert. So often, people take a hospital copy...or one that is a photocopy (both unacceptable).

So, don't beat yourself up too badly...you, at least, took a passport! :hi:
