47. Humans are amazing creatures.

We can devote attention to many things but still worship others. That's my take, at least.

As long as we acknowledge our inspirations even for minute amounts of time, we grant them power, as we grant it to ourselves.

Myself, I live in an inner-city neighborhood and can hardly see the sky, let alone the horizon or any significant amount of trees or fields or mountains. But I still feel more connected to them than anything I pass by each day.

The reward is in the journey.
