31. Less energy with a fan.
Last summer, I used the AC just for sleeping. So far I'm able to keep it off. But I also like the heat. I used to work in the Negev desert (third hottest spot on the planet) with only a tiny fan. Of course, you couldn't sleep until winter.

I discovered something else. The doors on the flats are crap. Air flows around them as if they were open. Since I'm located at the bottom of the stairwell, I think I'm getting some of their cool air around my crappy door.
