I can't fucking cope with this. All I can see in my head is the tiny little pink shoes my niece wore when she was little. Those pink sandals belonged to someone's little girl and the people running our country and a whole lot of the populace just don't care that she (and thousands more like her) are gone.
I want to scream and cry and shake someone until they can explain to me why this had to happen, why so many people have had to die.
