14. We got him last winter after Christmas, and he was a little shy
Edited on Mon Jul-13-09 10:08 AM by hedgehog
at first; he didn't even bark the first few days. I thought he was settled in, but I think he got used to two quiet adults as opposed to three college kids. As I'm typing this, I realize that one of the "college kids" is actually my high school graduate. She was living with us all winter, but spent so much time at school and doing homework that I forgot she was around. Effectively, Pooka spent all his time with me and my husband.

He's almost 2 years old. I don't pick him up, I just let him hop into my lap. He lets my husband pick him up, but my husband is incharge as far as the dogs are concerned.
