Anyone here travel to Italy in early April?

I want to revisit Florence but I am getting more and more crowd averse lately and I want to avoid them as much as I can. So I figured that right after Easter (which is the first weekend in April in 2010) would be pretty good crowdwise.

Also, is the weather good that early in April there?

Thanks for anyone with a tip on this!
