My mom says my dad is colorblind but my dad denies it [View All]

My dad is 65. About 10 years ago my mom told me that my dad cannot see color because when my dad is going out he asks her to please give him the "red" or "yellow" or whatever shirt, when that's not the shirt's color. So apparently my father thinks he knows what red is or what yellow is. He grew up in a very rural area in the Dominican Republic where people rarely went to a doctor let alone have a vision test; so perhaps that's why he wasn't diagnosed with the condition there. She told me not to tell him that he's colorblind because he feels sad or angry. So I've never mentioned it to him. He was a teacher for 20 yeasr though, teaching History, Geography, english, french, etc.
