Before reading this article (http://www.boston.com/globe/nation/packages/kerry/061703.shtml) I didn't even know that Kerry was an anti-war activist. I've supported him for years after listening to him speak in the Senate, and of course I knew he was a Vietnam vet because they always mention that. But that he returned to the States to become a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War? I found that pretty inspiring. There are a lot of voters out there who remember the nightmare that Vietnam was for this country and who can see us heading down the same path now. I think Kerry will really be able to put that in focus.
