4. I attended a "Meeks Endorses Kerry" reception in COlumbia and there

was a strong turn out from the Civil Rights wing of the SC Democratic Party.

Two weeks later I attended the opening of Kerry's office in Columbia. The room was filled with the backbone of the party including SC House Dem leader (Rep SMith) and Judge Alex Sanders. Kerry is doing all the right networking in SC.
