In his response to Dean?

Don't we get enough states rights regionalism from the likes of Trent Lott?

At least that's how I took:

"The last thing we need in the South is somebody like you coming down and telling us what we need to do"

Unfortunately, for Civil Rights to succeed in the South, other people did have to come down and tell some states what to do. Does Edwards think that was wrong?

I thought his statement was so very sad and divisive...more lobbing bombs in response to a disagreement...and no high road in sight.

I did really like that Edwards was approaching the campaign with civilty, but now he's swinging a "Northern candidates need not apply" bat to bludgeon others with?
