10. how exactly does the Democratic candidate for president "repudiate the Dem platform"


and continue to be the Democratic candidate for president in any meaningful sense?

Is it okay if he repudiates just that one thing? How about if he repudiates 25% of the platform? 50%? 100%?

How about if people who don't like the Democratic Party's platform stop calling themselves Democrats?

That's what I'd suggest to people who call themselves New Democrats and kept demanding that the leader of the (my) New Democratic Party repudiate its platform, anyhow.
