53. I paid 1550 for it at a local store. (before the price increases)

I live in an area where the additional range of the .308 round would be useful. I also have "quite a bit" of .308 ammo & "quite a few" magazines for this type of rifle. If I had bought an AK or AR type I would end up having to spend that (1700) for the rifle, ammo & magazines. Either way you pay.
