Seriously though I don't think Obama wants to ban guns. I don't think it is big on his agenda.

HOWEVER
it is kinda strange for people to get bent out of shape because other people think Obama may ban guns when...... Obama said he wanted to ban (some) guns!

He also stated he didn't believe DC gun ban (a complete ban on handguns) was unconstitutional. So a complete ban of multiple classes of weapons doesn't violate the 2nd in his mind (per his words true or not).

Crazy that people might take him at his word.

That being said I think Obama wants guns control to disappear because it is expensive in terms of political capital (and he was others thing he would like to spend it on) BUT if AWB2 gets to his desk he will sign it without blinking and make a big speech about saving cops, and preventing terrorist from getting guns that spray bullets, etc.
