FREEPERVILLE HAS DONE A BACK FLIP ON THE FRIST SECRET PRISON LEAK PROBE

It's like watching a kid who dropped his ice cream cone in the grass. The Freeps get all worked up and want prison time for this traitor. Then when they find out it was one of their own who committed this terrible terrible deed, they change their story to "there were no secret prisons." I enjoy the misspelled words and grammatical errors - Education President my ass.

Below are the Freeper comments on Frist and Hastert's "probe" request.

Good! This is something serious that NEED's to be investigated vs the wasted tax dollars on needless investigation of the "outing" of Wilson's wife who had been "outed" a long time ago....and, not by Libby. I'm emailing Frist and Hastert....go for it.

If accurate, such an egregious disclosure could have long-term and far-reaching damaging and dangerous consequences,
But the good part is that it will allow a wholesale house cleaing in the CIA and we can flush the Plame clones out once and for all and fill it full of ex military guys that we can trust. Plamegate wouldn't stick, and SHAZAM!!! there's a new leak ready made and perfectly timed.

Not a Congresssional investigation, a Fitzgerald clone Special Prosecutor.
As long as the investigation is searching for leakers its fine by me. You can rest assured its not anyone in the administration.
(HA HA! - interjected by powergirl here)

They reported on CNN that Sen. Lott believes it was a Republican senator who leaked this information...

(duh - uh oh - editorialized by powergirl)

It's pretty ridiculous to think that any secret group of prisons or interrogation centers could remain secret for long.

The investigation is as likely to do harm to the administration and the interrogation objectives as finding out who the leaker really was. About as useful, for instance, as prosecuting Linda Tripp in l'affaire Lewinsky turned out to be.

I suspect this so-called leak probe will come to little or nothing. First they'll announce there is no probe. Then they'll say there's no leak. Then they'll say there are no secret prisons.

Probably the only item of interest would be if WaPo was being slipped info directly by a Dim staffer who was leaking classified Senate intel info. Now that might be worth pursuing.

Now that I think about it, special prosecutor anyone?

This should be referred to the sacred Special Counsel Fitzgerald. His office is all set up and he said in his press conference that he and all Americans should be outraged at the Plame leak because of the damage it does to the CIA now and in the future.
Why on earth would we want Fiztgerald involved in this matter unless we need some additional perjury or obstruction charges. It would take Fitz a year or more just to figure out where the CIA is located.
