5. Notch Two for Hagel.

He's the same guy who said Bush should be impeached, right???

He is playing the right cards.

He now has another bi-partisan card to play in the presidential elections game.

I guarantee - by the end of June, this guy will be on the map.

Don't get me wrong. It's a positive bill. It's a hilarious mix of Democratic outreach and Republican capitalism, focused on the group of Americans that everyone feels the most concern about.

If ANY Democratic presidential candidate had sponsored it jointly with Hagel, it would have taken away the thunder. But it's Kerry.

I think this will hurt us.
