I endorse Hillary Clinton for President. [View All]

Why do I endorse Hillary Clinton? Several good reasons.

1. She can win. Hell, by the time 11/08 rolls around, Joe Lieberman could win on the Democratic ticket, but just barely. Still, it's a key qualification for being nominated, and we ought not to ignore that.

2. A President Hillary Clinton will cause Free Republic Nation no end of grief, most of it self-inflicted because the're dumbasses, but there you go. Whatever causes Freepers to not sleep well at night, I heartily support.

3. She is nothing if not competent. After eight years of Resident Dumbshit, it will be refreshing to have somebody on the Oval Office who knows what she's doing, won't nominate judges who hate democracy, and cultivates the respect of her fellow world leaders.

4. As long as Eliot Spitzer is the governor of New York, her replacement will be a Democrat. My guess is, Andrew Cuomo will get the job. That would rock.

5. I share Sen. Obama's admiration for Hillary's pink jacket.
