I was working on my phone lists for the California primary when something occured to me that I want to post here for the record. This will probably be the last thing I post here until after the California primary, because time is precious.

Obama's support in SC is being dismissed because it's heavily dependent on the support of African Americans. The theory goes, according to the Clintons and the media, that this will make him the "black candidate." Some say it already has. What if they are wrong?

What if, next Sunday morning, folks of all races and genders in the Feb. 5th states don't go along with the script? What if, in an historical moment like the one that occurred in Iowa, everyone, regardless of the color of their skin does buy the story the media and the Clinton's are assuming they will buy?

What if they buy quite a different story? A 21st century story that goes beyond our divisions of the past? What if next Sunday morning, there is not only a new dawn on this political race, but a new dawn across America? What if people see not, as the Clinton's and the media are assuming they will, a bunch of black folks voting for a black man, but rather a bunch of Americans, like themselves, voting for change. Americans. What if the spirit of Iowa reignites, and not just in Iowa?

When climbing the mountain of hope, one must always overcome doubt. One starts of with great hopes, that was Iowa. Now the doubt has set in, but the mountain top is still there. What if this Saturday, the people of South Carolina show America once and for all how to overcome our doubts and our fears, and believe in our own power as a people once more?

Has anyone considered that?

See ya all later....
