Why Continual Losing Doesn't Help the Clinton Campaign

The Clinton campaign should really be worried if she goes 0-8 (assuming Obama wins Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.). Yes, the delegate count won't make that much of a difference...but perception is as important (if not more) than delegates in politics.

What will happen to Hillary Clinton's PERCIEVED electibility if she goes totally defeated for a while? Ask Rudy Guiliani how racking up loses helps your campaign in the end. It doesn't...and never has. She HAS to win a state or more before March 4 when TX and OH vote if she wants to win convincingly. I find it very hard to believe if she doesn't win anything until then...she still wins handily in those important states. Candidates who put their campaigns hands in one or two states usually end up disappointed because they've already lost so much.
