One of my friends is still "undecided" because she's been talking to her old Neocon (now married) boyfriend who can lead her around by her nose. She sent me photos of the Anti-Sarah protest in Alaska and the following is our exchange (with personal named edited out).

Date: Friday, September 19, 2008, 1:33 PM

Thanks, for the photos friend. I'd seen most of these already. I don't see McCain's VP choice jazzing
up (m)any Independents to get to the polls and if he was going for the Hillary
vote, he is seriously misinformed. Epic FAIL for McCain on this. Palin is
a bad, bad joke. Me

You like, my nephew and my mother, live in an ivory tower. The liberal New York
Metropolitan area is very different from middle America and the South. I know my daughter
who lives in VA is voting for McCain. Abortion is still a big issue with the religious right.
You may think Palin is an idiot, but many people are mesmerized by her. My ex-friend

As usual, your daughter is voting her boyfriend's conscience. Millions of new voters
across this country are not signing up to vote for John McCain. Me
