What makes you think that this invocation nonsense will help any.

This is supposed to be a secular country. Why don't we behave like one and scrap the entire invocation to begin with? (Aside from the fact that it's considered perfectly acceptable to throw one's religion in the face of atheists while the religious cry and scream should atheists be perceived as doing the same.)
