I've been thinking of a new party, or an internal movement within the husk of what's left of the Democratic Party and pushing the GOPukes to the wall on abortion was one of the first things I thought of.
What could be their possible excuse for failing to even try? The fundies are convinced that THEY won the election for BushCo, that THEY got the clear majority in both the House and Senate, and that THEY will decide who should get on the SC as soon as the old folks start leaving.
Why isn't Bush ALLREADY moving on this? What more does he want?
Let us hang this around his neck like a dead albatross and see how long the fundies take to catch a whiff of the stink.
