The social conservatives of the party WILL NEVER vote for a pro-choice/pro gay/pro-gun control candidate, no matter who he is or what party he's in. He could get nominated, but there will be a far right party running for all the God Guns and Gays voters.
Plus, with the realigning of the court, abortion could be a huge issue in 2008, and the repubs will want a hardline pro-lifer.

And for the love of God, NO HILLARY! Win or lose, she's not the image our party wants. I'm sick and tired of the CLintons and their DLC chronies. Get someone with character in the office!
